Seven Degrees of Separation

"Six degrees of separation is the theory that everyone and everything is six or fewer steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person in the world, so that a chain of "a friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps."

Well that's what Wikipedia says, but there is a seventh one. The one friend who refuses to say or admit that they know you, kinda like your ex. Well yeah, technically you aren't friends anymore. Thus breaking it down to only six known connections.

Art is Not a Democracy

I was able to encounter a profound quote, worthy of reading or hearing over and over again by a great writer. I thought I might share it with everyone;

Here's a more simplified one, but still hits the spot when you're having doubts about creating the art that you really want to make. These quotes should be printed and frames and be on every art school and writing class.

Do you see it? Caravaggio's painting The Incredulity of Saint Tomas?

 How about when I flip it?

How about side by side?

Don't doubt.
