I took this shot for my photography class back in college. We were tasked to take shots with black and white film. We were fortunate enough to experience the black and white films because back in 2007 the digital age was abound and the majority of people were just buying digital cameras and setting them on black and white.

Yes that is practical if you think about it but while digital cameras are abundant of shots (unlimited shots really) they lack the grittiness of the texture when you develop the film. And going back to having unlimited shots, when taking pictures with a manual camera you really had to take your time choosing what you take a picture of, you don't just "point and shoot". Point being, there are pros and cons with the digital camera, don't get me wrong, I love using them.

But like in shooting in film, there's a quality or rawness or feel that one looses (or one gains) when using a manual camera and a digital one. The best way to look at it is not to compare them and use both as preferred or whatever you have handy. Oh and by the way this shot was taken at Intramuros, Manila. That's actually all I really wanted to say.
